Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Founder celebrates Dental Assistants Day for the first time in 25 years.

College of Dentistry, King Abdulaziz University Celebrated today Wednesday, 8/5/1434 AH 03/20/2013 AD Dental Assistants Day which will be held at the college for the first time in 25 years under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Professor Abdulaghani bin Ibrahim Mira attended on his behalf by HE the Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs Dr. Yasser bin Mohammed Khayari whom has praised the vital role and sincere efforts made by the Dental Assistants and through the provision of health care upscale college confirming his happiness on the commitment of the college to exert more effort in order to progress in providing the best quality service and work on creative caliber training.

Dr. Abeer Moqeem assistant professor of preventive treatment and supervising the nursing staff at the Faculty of Dentistry explained that the objectives of this day is honoring Dental Assistants as what is happening in many countries such as the United States and Canada in order to stimulate Dental Assistants and recognition for their continuing efforts to raise therapeutic service level of excellence provided to patients and the Board of the Faculty of Dentistry.

At the end of the ceremony organizing committee has distributed on Site gifts to the Dental Assistants and attendance and honored the distinguished staff, also they distributed Recognition of Islam manuals in the tagalong in cooperation with the Cooperative Office for Jeddaqh Dawah Center in Al- Salama district.

What is worth mentioning that the Saudi dental assistants College of Dentistry has exceeded a number of 81 assistant and there will be, God willing, a graduation number of 37 dental assistants from Bridging Program for diplomas and health over the next year and a program of oral health for undergraduates and BA Assistant Dentistwill be established.
