تأثير عامل الوقت على صلاحية الرقعة العظمية المتجانسة

Document Language : English
Abstract : The fate of postmortem bone grafts procured from cadavers and transplanted in bony defects were investigated , at intervals of immediate , six hours , and twelve hours after sacrifice . Fresh cadaver grafts were found stable and incorporated after 3 – 4 weeks simulating fresh viable bone grafts . However , grafts procured at 6 and 12 hours postmortem took much time to be consolidated . Using histologic sections , it was shown also that all grafts were indistinguishable from the host bone after 3 months of grafting procedure . It was concluded that fresh cadaver bone grafts could be safely and successfully used as bone substitutes
