Abstract
:
This study was conducted on 10 patients with severely atrophic mandible and they were divided into two groups (I) and (II). For Group (II), HA augmentation was done first and then vestibuloplasty was carried out on all patients of both groups. The results revealed great improvement in ridge height in group (II) and we concluded that the combined technique of ridge augmentation and vestibuloplasty is indicated in patients with severely atrophic mandible.
