Abstract : This study was carried out on 10 patients to evaluate augmentation of severely atrophic mandibular alveolar ridge with and without using stent. Augmentation of alveolar ridge was directed towards achieving a foundation for a prosthesis that will be stable and retentive under functional stresses. The results of the study were assessed and discussed.
