Abstract : The stresses induced by two same designs of partial dentures with two different types of intracoronal retainers: Ney MacKay – Mortise rest and Ney Mini-rest semiprecision attachments were studied and evaluated in an invitro study using strain measuring device. Our study concluded from biomechanical point of view that it is preferable to use MacKay Mortise semiprecision attachment with deep rest seat as it induced less amount of vertical and lateral strain on the abutment
