Stepwisemultiplelogisticregressionanalysis wasperformewdithstuntingw, astinga, ndunderweighatsdependevnat riables. Results:Thereis a statisticallysignificant differencebetweensquatterandurbanchildrenin the prevalenceof wasting(4.2% and 1.4%respectively) and underweight (11.3%and 2.4% respectivelyw),hereastheprevalencoefstuntingwasinsignificanthlyighearmongsquattecrhildren comparetdo urbanchildren(21.7%and16%respectivelyN).utritionasltatuswasgenerallbyetter amongexclusiveblyreast.fedinfantsandthosebreast.fedfor23monthsB. esidesquatterresidence, poornutritionasltatuswasstronglyassociatewditholderchild'sagem, alesexandbeingachildof non.working mothers
