Document Details Document Type : Article In Journal  Document Title : A Method for Estimating the Maxillary A Method for Estimating the Maxillary   Document Language : English  Abstract : For this study, fourty casts of maxillary edentulous jaws were obtained by standard clinical procedures. The casts were selected to include clinical variations of shape, size and ridge shapes. The denture supporting area on each selected cast was determined by a suggested method (wax and graph paper method) and compared with other two methods used before (Empirical equation and Replication methods). The results of this study proved that, wax and graph paper method is considered as valid method for estimating the maxillary basal seat for complete dentures.
