Abstract : The main purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of using an instructional software on kindergarten children's concepts attainment of (My Safety and Health) unit and the student-teachers' attitudes towards using this software The instruments used in this study were: A computerized instructional software of the concepts of (My Safety and Health) unit in a form of animated cartoon instructional situations, Animated achievement test for (My Safety and Health) unit concepts, A Scale of student-teachers attitude towards using the instructional software. The Statistical Methodology Used in the Study a semi-experimental methodology for studying the effect of the independent variable (using an Instructional Software) on the first dependent variable (kindergarten children's concepts attainment of "My Safety and Health" unit) and on the second dependent variable (student-teachers' attitudes towards using the software). The Study Sample of this research consisted of (18) students-teachers registered in the course of Field Training in King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah in the first semester (1429/1430H). The sample also included (30) children of both genders at First and Fifteen Public Kindergarten. The subjects of this research were purposively selected using the one group technique, and the research tools were administered before and after the use of the instructional software. The study showed that using Differentiated Instruction produced significant statistical differences at level ≤ 0.05 between the means of the pre and post scores on the animated achievement test of the concepts of (My Safety and Health) unit of Kindergarten children of both genders, in favor of the post test, However there are significant statistical differences at level ≤ 0.05 between the means of the pre and post scores on the scale of students-teachers attitude towards using the Instructional software, in favor of the post scores. The Most Important Recommendations were: Since the use of instructional software in acquiring the concepts of Safety and Health Unit to pre-school children has proved its effectiveness, it is highly recommended to use the software in teaching the concepts of (My Safety and Health) unit in the kindergarten educational system, the necessity of using computers and instructional softwares as an instructional tool in kindergarten, giving special notice to animated cartoon softwares, as being an effective and appealing instructional element on children development, And training kindergarten teachers on the implementation of instructional softwares in teaching kindergarten children.
