الكيمياء الحيوية

أهداف المقرر :-

تعليم قواعد وأسس التفاعلات الكيميائية الحيوية التي تحدث في جسم الإنسان في حالة الصحة والمرض مع التركيز على ما يخص  طب الأسنان .

محتوى المقرر :-

المعلومات الأساسية للجزيئات الحيوية مثل البروتينات ، والكربوهيدرات ، والأنزيمات ، والهرمونات … ومكونات الدم وآلية تخثر الدم وعمليات التمثيل الغذائي الطبيعي والمرضي وخاصية الأغشية والمكونات الكيميائية للعاب والخواص الكيميائية لعنصر الفلورايد .

BIOCHEMISTRY         ( BCHD 201 M )

Objectives:

To develop knowledge, appreciation and understanding of the biochemical basis of health and disease with a special focus on dentistry.

Course Content:

Introduction of basic concepts, important biomolecules such as:  lipids, proteins and carbohydrates: enzymes and coenzymes; DNA-RNA-molecules; metabolism; hormones; membrane components; blood constituents and clotting mechanisms; mineralization and trace elements; nutrition; inborn errors of metabolism; saliva and fluoride chemistry.
